This celebrity's kid starts at Brown in 2024. 'It鈥檚 kind of giving me a nervous breakdown.'

In the nearly 2,500 first year students that start at each fall, there's almost always at least one celebrity or celebrity's kid in the bunch.

Actress Emma Watson famously attended. attended Brown. Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick's son also attended the prestigious university.

And so it's little surprise that another celebrity's child is enrolling at Brown this fall: Gwyneth Paltrow's 18-year-old son Moses.

At her recent this month, Paltrow admitted to being more than a little apprehensive about what her life is going to look like when her son moves into his dorm.

鈥淚t鈥檚 kind of giving me a nervous breakdown, if I鈥檓 honest. I started being like, 鈥極h my God, and I need to quit my job and I need to sell my house and I need to move,'" she said at the summit "It鈥檚 sort of putting things into turmoil."

With her other child Apple turning 20 soon, she said at the summit that she's figuring out what her identity is going to look like with the kids out of the house.

"I鈥檝e oriented my whole life around them and their schedules and when school starts. You start to let go in increments when they鈥檙e driving themselves around or doing certain things," she said. "It is a slower process. I feel really lucky because I have a close group of mom friends and we all raised our kids alongside one another. So we鈥檙e kind of in it together."

Taking advice from psychologist Jennifer Freed, she said she's trying to think of herself as a 'free bird' instead of an empty nester.

"That resonates," she said. "Instead of creating a sense of loss, what if I were free? And I could say yes to a girls鈥 weekend, because I didn鈥檛 feel guilty. That kind of thing.鈥
